Hello, Boosters!
Just a quick reminder on some
upcoming events.
This coming Monday, August 28, is
Meet the Band Night at the high school football field; 7:00 p.m.
This is a nice opportunity to hear and see some of the marching
show the kids and staff have been working on long and hard.
The first home football game of
the season is Friday, September 1. Those on deck to provide
snacks for the band for 3rd qtr are Lois Lannin, Marcie Clark,
Debbie Steelman, Laura Cozart (and two more that Lois will
contact this week). With the number of students involved in the
program, we're going to use six people per game rather than four
to spread the costs a little lower. Thanks to the many of you
who agreed to do this on your volunteer forms.
The next booster meeting is
September 18. Please note this is different than the normal
schedule. We will NOT be meeting on September 11.
The next Marching Invitational
meeting will be September 25 at 7:00 p.m. This will be the final
meeting before the event on September 30. Thanks to all who are
volunteering to fill the slots.
We are looking for businesses
that would like to put in an ad in our Odessa Marching
Invitational program. Often businesses even put coupons for the
parents who visit from other schools that day to draw people to
their business that day. If you are connected in any way to a
business in the area and want to put an add in to please contact
