Step-Up Night

Winter Drumline:
Organizational meeting Tuesday October 17, 3:15, HS Band Room

The Drumline at Odessa High School is made up only of students currently enrolled in the instrumental music program in the High School. The Drumline is made of the Front Ensemble that is taking a prominent role within the marching program, and the battery. The Drumline rehearses everyday for 50 minutes during first hour. During marching season the line, as well as the full band, meets an hour prior to first hour for extra rehearsal as well as Tuesday and Thursday night rehearsals.

The school year of 06-07 will mark the first time Odessa High School offers a competitive Winter Drumline. The line and front ensemble will be auditioned from students currently enrolled in the OHS instrumental program. The Drumline will compete in several Mid-Continent Color Guard Association festivals across the state with a rehearsal schedule to be determined later.
